Welcome to Verdant Whispers, home of artist, writer, and tech head Matt Gretton. Matt is currently a freshman at SUNY Geneseo in New York, where he is persuing a major in psychology.

An avid reader, Matt enjoys works of fantasy and science fiction - the stranger the better. He writes purely for pleasure, and is currently in the midst of hosting a writing contest on his DeviantArt website.

Other hobbies include tinkering with computer hardware, listening to music, and playing one video game - only one, mind you, but he's very good at it.

• The Desire Tournament: an oiriginal character tournament for writers. This is hosted on my DeviantArt website.

• Verdant Forums - a possible home for further writing and roleplaying.

• Trying not to fail out of school.

• Building (read: failing to build) an extremely fast computer.
